Sr. Qualitative Research and Innovation Strategist (Health Care)

CLIENT ENGAGEMENT:
Project Design:
- Co-lead project intake calls with Client Relationship Lead, empathically connecting with clients to identify client research and business needs.
- Collaborate with project team to design project approach from a research, innovation, and strategy perspective to meet client objectives. This includes project timeline, schedule, custom activities, proprietary methodologies, and activation modules.
Client Development & Proposal Support:
- Co-lead client development presentations and proposal walk-throughs as an experienced health care resource, displaying comprehensive knowledge of our product offerings, industry familiarity, and confidence as the voice of the consumer.
- Act as a healthcare research thought leader internally and within a client setting.
- Support the Client Relationship Lead in Project Brief development.
- Help build and maintain a small portfolio of clients/account to grow business.
PROJECT EXECUTION:
- Serve as the qualitative SME to Client Relationship Lead and the client by moderating and conducting primary qualitative research that may include follow-up brand strategy and/or innovation consulting.
- Qualitative project responsibilities include client consultation, recruiting target guidance, discussion guide development, moderating interviews and/or online boards, analysis, and report delivery.
- Lead complex projects, particularly within the Health and Wellness industries.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a strong client service orientation.
- Promptly respond to and resolve client-identified issues and/or business needs.
- Present compelling business recommendations to client in a story format that evokes confidence and expertise.
- Effectively manage a cross-functional project team in a collaborative way.
- Partner with internal quantitative experts to integrate quantitative results based on existing fully analyzed quantitative reports (not raw data) into qualitative results to produce shared qual/quant insights and recommendations.
ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS
- Strong, clear, and confidence-inspiring communicator in speech, writing and presentation.
- Minimum of 10 years of work experience, primarily focused on market research and/or relevant business experience, strong preference for 7+ years of moderating experience within health care.
- Ability to empathically connect with respondents, probe with questions and observations to uncover rich data, and the ability to analyze and synthesize data into deep, novel insight.
- Strategic business fundamentals understanding with demonstrated ability to synthesize ideas and strategies across disciplines and industries.
- Ability to rapidly assimilate to new businesses and industries, demonstrating confident use of data, terminology, and key ideas.
- Strong relational skills for business development and managing long-term client relationships.
